as far as i know there's no upgrades to fuel mileage. not only are they gas hogs, but you have to check the oil at least once a week, redline it at least once a week. Some are known to need a re-manufactured engine. They are high maintenance cars. But under good hands and someone who cares well for them like some friends of mine they will last a long time. They are over rated but underestimated in my opinion.

I don't believe that. i drive the highway and in town and i get 12-15mpg unless they did straight driving without getting on the clutch and not stopping than maybe but highly unlikely. these cars DO NOT get good gas mileage, because it's a rotary it takes alot of gas and oil.

You tell 'im, Jen.
j/k

But seriously, I find 30 mpg w/a Renesis hard to believe too. And as was stated earlier, don't buy and expect to save anything w/those eBay gas savng devices. They are only a way to separate you from your money.
