Default 2001 miss on cyl 6 and trans light blinking

i have a 3.0 ford engine in my mazda tribute bought the car not running had a few different coils out and the spark plug on cylinder 6 had blown completely out of the engine. the valve cover gasket on this same head was blown and leaking oil into the spark plug tubes. it also had what sounded like a lifter ticking got all that cleared up with some sea fom in the oil and in the gas tank. re tapped the spark plug hole and fixed the leaky gasket. no big deal replaced all my coils i was showing a fault for including cylinder 6. put new spark plugs in 2,4,6. but still have a miss fire on cylinder 6. pulled coil out while running and brought it to ground and i have a good spark no problems there. i also have an od light that flashes when i drive but od is not disengaged. it will reset itself when the car is turned off and then back on. need to know what that light is and why i am miss firing on cylinder 6.

Pull the plugs on 2-4-6 and compare, if 6 looks very different you still have no fire there, you checked for spark and got it now you gotta check for fuel and air. As for the OD light see if you can get a code reader to pull any codes from the tranny, sometimes the cheapo readers wont catch all codes so be wary. What are the codes that it is throwing?
