Default 2002 tribute headlight trouble

Before my alternator went out on me, my lo-beam headlamps stopped working. The hi-beams work fine, but only the lo-beams do not work.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Could be a relay switch under the hood, or the switch in the turn signal lever stalk that turns on the high beams could be bad. I had this happen on a Dodge Caravan I used to own. Another thing to check is if there is a separate fuse for the low and high beams. Could be as simple as a blown fuse.
