Default 2002 Tribute -- Headlights won't turn off

Has anyone on here had a problem where their headlights will not turn off? A few nights ago, I had to pop open the hood and literally unplug the lights for the night instead of waiting for a dead battery the next day. I'm planning on taking it in to the dealership to get looked at, but am hoping that instead someone might know a quick fix for this problem on here.

Thanks...

Pretty much has to be a faulty headlight switch Sveiks. The switch not only provides the ground for the headlight relay coil but the ground path for the headlights as well after they get voltage from the relay. Super easy switch to replace. Three screws for the lower steering column cover, unplug the headlight switch and two screw for it and it slide right out. All you need is a #2 phillips screwdriver and 5-10 minutes of your time.
