I am struggling to swap a radio into a tribute i have. I have found multiple wiring diagrams but some say different things. I am pretty sure i figured out which were the speakers as all diagrams had those listed as the same but cant figure out which wires are ground, acc, and power. the diagrams i found show the black/green wire as power but if i use a multimeter it shows nothing but i noticed if i use that as a ground the orange/green wire shows constant 12v with the car off but none of the wires give me 12v with the keys at acc? im so damn confused and have never had this much of a problem with a radio swap.

idk if the radio i have is bad or what but does anyone here have a proper wiring diagram for an 2005 tribute before i drive this thing into a wall?

 

Black only wire is normally the common earth , so muti-m earth lead on black and probe the other wires , you might have it sorted out by now though , good luck .

Right Front Speaker Positive Wire (+): White/Light Green
Right Front Speaker Negative Wire (-): Dark Green/Orange
