Hi all,

I have a 2008 Tribute that won't start. The engine tries to turn over for a second, then nothing. Thought it was the battery so I replaced it. Now, attempts to start the car are meet with a sound that sounds like a fan hitting something at high speed, or even a machine gun. Dash lights come on, so I'm really not sure what the cause is at this point. Also, if the have the key in the on position, and turn the headlights on, everything turns off.

Any suggestions?
