Default Brakes/Pedal goes to the floor

I have just had all brake shoes and front pads changed out. Also the master cylinder was replaced. The car seems to stop OK but I can still apply enough pressure to the pedal to make it hit the floor. I don't think thats right. Also I have tryed to panic stop the car at 30mph and it will not lock up the wheels. It's a 2002 with 81000. Everything else is OK with the car. What do you think?

Well I would take it back to the Shop and have them bleed the brakes properly. Sounds like to me you got air in the brake system. Its possbile they didn't bench bleed the Master cyclinder correctly.

I took the car back to a Mazda dealership and had them check out the problem. They reported the the other shop had not bleed the brakes properly. Everything is fine now.
