Default DRL for 2003 Tribute

Greetings, I'm in need of Daytime Running Lights (DRL) on my 03 Tribute to pass a Canadian federal inspection. Is this something that can be enabled by a Mazda (or Ford?) dealer? Or do I need to go down the aftermarket solution path? Thanks in advance.

You need to find another dealer ASAP. They can be disabled and or programmed at your request but the service department has to do it.

Apparently, that's not an option for the 2003 model year. I bought an aftermarket 3-wire module that did the trick for about $30, though. And besides, the closest dealer for me is about a 4 hour drive anyway.
