Hello!

My 2001 manual drive Tribute has free play at the gear lever; engaged in any gear I can move the lever about one centimeter back ond forth. It is also requierd to shift careful to third gear, otherwise the gear lever will not shift to third. I looked at the engagement of the gear shift cables to the gearborg, but it all looks ok and there is no adjustment option.

Does anyone know how to adjust these cables? Might there be an other issue with my shift lever?
