I have an '02 tribute and recently started getting a high pitched squealing noise when I accelerate. It only happens when I accelerate, doesn't seem to happen when I am driving at a consistant rate. Can't get into my mechanic until the beginning of the year and was wondering if someone might be able to help out. Not sure if I have a vacuum hose leak or if anyone else has had this issue and can help pinpoint the problem.
