may need to reset keyfob, turn ignition on from off to just before start 8 times with keyfob on keyring, you should hear door locks engaged, keyfob should work, if not try again. should be able to reset remote for the vehicle

I have a similar issue. I have recently installed a remote starter with keyless entry. My issue is that the remote starter will reach the car to activate the starter and unlock the doors from about 3 times further than the factory fob. I have replaced the battery with no difference. What could be the issue here. I have three factory fobs and they all have the same distance issue.
FYI, the distance was short before I got the starter installed.
