need pro help
2001 Tribute DX, V6
PO351
Ignition Coil A
Primary/Secondary
Circuit Malfunction
PO301
Cylinder 1
Misfire Detected
I have replaced all spark plugs and coils, reset the cpu, and continue to get this code. .When i did the plugs i foundthat the PCV elbow had a hole in it, and got that replaced. The engine runs rough intermittently, and it seems like its getting worse. Any help would be appreciated, She is finally paid off and dont wanna lose her!
one last thing, do tributes have a governer

RE: need pro help
It is encorpoarated into the PCM on the V6. Have you checked the EGR circuit? They clog with carbon. Also i have seen a lot of bad aftermarket coils. It is very hard to say over the internet. You may want to take it in for diagnosis. Replacing parts is expensive.

Check the light green wire with a white trace [LG/W ] it is on pin number 26. they mostly break right at the pcm connector or where the bend is. this wire is for no1 coil. hope this helps
