I have an 05 Tribute, the filter on the brake booster needs to be replaced, you cannot buy the filter, you have to buy the entire brake booster for near $400. has anyone ever tried to replace the filter by making a new one. anyone have pros or cons to this thought. I'm going cheap here.

Rock Auto has them for less that $100 when you return the unit you are replacing back to them.
