Default Stalling?

Mazda tribute 2010, 2.5, 4WD.

So it's day three and I can't figure out what is wrong. The problem has only happened in the morning, and I can't always make it happen.. but stalls at extended stops. Drive-thru, red light. It runs hard like chuga chuga then dies throwing no codes the last to flash is the battery. The first time it happened I disconnected all interior electronics turned off the heat and it still happened, after restart. Had all fluids check, battery, alternator, gas filter, air intake, spark plugs checked. Today I remote started it for 10 min before leaving and it didn't stall but did the chuga chuga thing so I inched up so I wouldn't stall. We thought maybe cold start issue.

Anyone else come across this?

Check for a stuck EGR valve or an inlet air leak.

I had this issue, and decided, since I'm handy I'd replace the following: EGR valve, Mass Air Flow Sensor, EGR Vacuum Solenoid Valve, as well as the throttle cable. I got them all on Amazon for under $125.00 and had them installed in an hour. Solved my issues. You may try swapping out one item at a time.
