hello everyone. i just purchased an 01 dx. it has the 1 1/4" receiver hitch that looks like factory, but i'm not sure where the wire harness is, or if i have to buy the converter kit. i have a cooler for the power steering pump(don't ask how i found that out, but i'm not sure if it has the factory tow package. i tried the search function, but found it lacking. thanks!

 

Hello cheeze...on my 01 EX the connector is on the left side {looking from the rear} of the hitch it has a rubber rectangular cap over it to keep out the grime. The connector is a plug in type thing and does not dangle down. On mine the bumber is cut out a little to allow the connection.
