Buzzing noise when car starts
There is a buzzing noise coming from the car every time I start it up. Lasts for a couple of minutes and then stops.
Anyone know what ths might be. It sounds like an electrical buzzing, not the noise you would get from a fan, and it is only when you start the car up. Someone suggested fuel pump priming, though i wouldnt have thought this would last for two or three minutes.

If it's a high-pitched whine from underneath it's the fuel pump. If it's more of a hum coming from inside it might be the fan for the temperature control sensor. It draws air from that little vent near the steering wheel, but some are mounted at the grill and some are set deeper in the dash with a tube.

I think it might be the temperature sensor, it tends to go off not long after the blue light for thr temperature goes out on the dash.
Question then is, is it supposed to make this noise? and if not, what damage can be done from not getting it fixed right away ?
