Default Mazda Demio 1.3 Jap Import Room Fuse Drain

Hi,

Just wondering if anyone knows what is on the room fuse circuit on the Mazda Demio 2009 1.3 Auto. Have a slow battery drain issue. 5-7 days of no driving and the battery doesn't have enough to start. Bought a brand new battery but the issue is still there. Did some testing and have narrowed it down to the room fuse. I did suspect it from other forums. I tried disconnecting the radio, removing the overhead bulb, but the only way I can get the battery not to drain is to remove the Room Fuse.

From my testing I can work out the following is in the room circuit
Over head light Radio Keyless entry and start
just wondering if it could be something else

Thanks,
Kev

Hi Kev,

I have a 2010 Mazada Demio 1.3 Auto as well.
Off late I was not using it much and the battery got drained and not holding the charge.

I have a immobiliser added to my car as security, I suspect thats consuming the battery.

Can I ask you what type of battery did you replace with? If you give the model and CCA of the battery that would be great. thanks.

Regards,
Sai
