Default Passenger airbag sign on

Hi, I have recently purchased a Mazda 2 15 reg. I wanted to check if anyone else has the passenger airbag sign (in white writing) stay on for the whole drive?
The other symbols go off after a while but this stays on at the time. Is this correct? As I am sure when I brought it the sign didn’t stay on.

It certainly sounds like a stressful week for both of you! I've just spent all of 2019 caring for two parents with cancer and learned a lot about healthcare. There is a person(s) called a Patient Advocate at every hospital/facility. Their job is to assist you in whatever manner you need - and this fits the bill. Another resource is the hospital social worker staff, they can find resources and help you find a solution. Keep asking until you find the help you need, I feel that the answer is with your healthcare team, not Mazda. Again, best of luck.
