Default Power cable from battery to radio

Hello people

I am trying to find a way to put an electric power cable to the radio for a mini amplifier.
Mazda 2 DE from 2013
So far, I can not find anything under the steering wheel and behind the glove compartment.
I thought I found one on the passenger side, but it doesn't go through the hole.
It is not a thick wire, but It looks like the Mazda has a double bulkhead and the cable disappears.
Any pictures and thoughts are very welcome and thanks in advance

Second question:
What is this connector for?
I tried to see if I could use the cable of the cigarette lighter, but I need to dismantle a lot more to reach it.

Hello, kww76.

This is a video (YouTube) that explains how to remove the center console for a 2012 Mazda Mazda2 (the Mazda DE).

I believe (but am not sure) that, that connector is for the automatic/power locking/unlocking button for the doors (left locks, right unlocks).

Did you need help removing the radio...? Most of the procedure involves unclipping plastic covers and a few screws (careful! The plastic can be frail and permenantly snap off and break).
