Replaced Fob, Car won't start
I just bought a Mazda 2 sport, the key that it came with was in pretty bad nick, (key wobbled and buttons were faded)
I bought a new fob housing off of ebay and have put the original chip and the original key blade back in.
The fob works fine, unlocks the car etc. but now i cannot start the car.
The dashboard has the immobiliser light blinking rapidly when i turn the key to ignition mode.
Has anyone got any advice / help please?

UPDATE (FIXED)
For anyone with the same issue, i have managed to fix the issue!
The fob comes in two parts, the button/battery housing and the key blade part.
I used the old official key blade along with the new button housing by slotting them together and the car now starts! I'm so relieved as it has saved me towing the car to the dealer and getting it fixed. saved myself hundreds.
I have no idea why one bit of plastic would make such a drastic difference from the other as there isn't any physical connection between the key and the chip.
For anyone buying a new key fob housing on ebay etc. please take note.
