06 3S just turned 200K miles, what now?
So my 2006 Mazda 3S hatch just turned 200,000 miles and it runs perfect, burns no oil and has all original engine parts. What should I watch for now since she keeps on running? Over the years I have done normal maintenance but some larger replacements include: Clutch, Master cylinder, Alternator, fuel pump and injectors. and shocks/struts. Everything else is just regular wearing parts. What should I watch for next?

1. Suspension -- evaluating the bushings, ball joints, tie rod ends. At 200Kmi, though, it might well be worth it to you to do an entire rebuild (all bushings/ends/links) if even a couple of them show clear bad wear.
2. Engine bay rubber/synthetic bits -- hoses and whatnot, looking for worn (weak or bulging) items. The stuff in the engine bay leads a rough life, and sometimes a few hoses aren't up to such longevity.
3. Throttle body -- probably time for a good cleaning, if you've not had this done in the past 100Kmi or more.
4. Exhaust system -- worth scanning, at least, looking for rattles, wear points, that everything's still well-mounted.
Probably all fine, or at least mostly fine. But, for me, on my own vehicles, at 200Kmi it'd be worth it to know.
