Default '06 M3S audio

Ok, i have a quick question, currently i have a little auvio fm transmitter for my ipod that i use for my car to play my music, but i noticed when i got it that when i play my music from the transmitter that from the radio to the transmitter the sound goes from loud to quiet, and there is no volume on the transmitter and when the volume is tuned on my ipod it changes nothing. So i was going to buy a xcarlink to install in my mazda, and i was wondering if that would be a good option to have. Thanks

If you just want a simple input look for either an auxmod basic or the simple grom audio input. Both will give you just a headphone jack connection.

If you want full integration you can get a module like the xcarlink. I also recommend checking out grom's ipod module as they seem to keep updates coming and from what I've heard from other owners have great customer service.

oh well in that case what do you think would be the most reliable and cheap as in just playing music, i don't need all this bluetooth stuff and whatnot.

As far as bluetooth goes IIRC you would need a separate module for the grom. Just by itself it's just ipod integration. To be clear ipod integration would mean you'd be charging the ipod, and controlling it from the stereo controls.

If you just want simple use a simple input. You'd get the same performance out of that that you would out of any regular factory mp3 player audio input.
