To run HIDs in the fogs you will need the Kit since the HID capsules need the Ballast to work, so it is not just the bulbs that need to be changed.

There are HID match halogen bulbs. I think MTec is one supplier of them. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/_Car-...1%7C240%3A1318
But in all honestly there isn"t much difference in the ones I have seen.If you want HID fogsspend a little more and get a convertion kit. They are liable to last much longer, have a better outputand cause fewer problems.

Good luck. Insurance companies don"t like to pay for what was on the car originally. I highly doubt they will help you modify it.
Why not check out some junk yards and see if you can find a full front bumper cover w/fogs? You will need the turn signal/headlight stalk also for the switch.

Not. The hatch and sedans share very few body parts between them and bumpers and fog lghts aren"t two of them in any year. They will not interchange, Jaimie.

i should know that too. didnt we have a guy here that had 2 cars with different sides of damage if he could interchange them. iirc it was a sedan and a hatchback too.
