2.3l pcv valve cleaning method proposal
2.3L PCV VALVE / OIL-SEPERATOR CLEANING METHOD PROPOSAL: seeking commentary from our more Experienced Owners who "do all their own work".
> Disconnect PCV Hose at 'other end'.
> Have Shop-Vac ready...
> Spray in lotsa PB Blaster, or other chemistry, that will DISSOLVE gummed-up PCV Valve 'gently'...
> Shop-Vac out the resulting residue... GENTLY. I.e. - hold the Vac Hose-Tip opening on the PCV Hose with lotsa 'room' around it, for reduced Suction.
> REPEAT Procedure. *Pick a number... test the PCV Valve the old-fashioned way (clean out the end of the PCV Hose before B&S-ing). Drive the 2.3L.
> Write down your actions and Results.
> REPEAT again as necessary.
WHY?? It beats R&R-ing that Intake Manifold!
