2007 Mazda 3 2.3L Battery
#2
All batteries are made by the same 2 or 3 companies no matter the brand (save for Optima, they are a different breed). So if you get an Excide, Panasonic or a Wal-Mart battery chances are they were all built by the same company. Personally I tend to purchase the biggest battery that can fit safely in my tray no matter what is supposed to be there, they tend to last longer since you have a bit more capacity than the stock ones if you find one thats bigger. The other thing that is very good to do is insulate your battery, heat kills a battery faster than you think and cold saps its strength when cold by slowing down the chemical reaction inside, insulating it helps in both cases.
