No worries though. My current Mazda 3 is black cause I wanted black anyway lol. And... of the color options available on the new Mazda 3, I prefer Black Mica over the rest regardless.

Now if they had a nice, deep, dark blue, or that dark turquoise color that they used to have on the 3, I'd take one of those colors before black.

EDIT: Like this:

cant find a pic of the dark turquoise. dont know what the actual color name of it is but i think u guys know what im talking about

I think the name of the color was phantom blue. That was one of their best colors. Of course it was only on the 07's. The other good colors were, the lava orange on the 04-06's, the gray on the 2005 SP23, and the copper red mica on the 2006 3. I know they brought back the copper red mica but it's a little different than the orignal. Now back to the topic. I surprisingly have seen quite a few 2010's. All but one have been the 2.0. I haven't seen a hatch either. I don't care too much for it. The one 2.5 i did see was actually not bad. The 2.5's have a different body kit and it looks better than the 2.0. I did go to the dealership and look at one face to face. Of course i chose my model over it, but unfortunately one day i will have to put my baby to rest and get a new car. I love everything about the 3 and would buy another one in a heartbeat. Even if the design isn't as appealing as mine, as long as it drives the same and has the same quality, i know i will love it.

That is Strato Blue Mica, available only on the '04-'06's. It appears dark blue in some light and purplish blue in other light.
For what it's worth, it was not such a popular color. I myself only know of one around here and it's owned by a former local club member... a woman.

Phantom Blue Mica, as well as the Phantom Purple Mica were underrated colors and very hot, especially on the HB, imho.

Nordic Green Mica. In the States it was available only on the 3i model and only with beige interior.

the first one! phantom blue!

It's OH SO SEXY! OMG i LOVE that color! haha

And as far as the Strato Blue... doing the whole blue/purple thing... sounds like a rename of Ford's Sonic Blue. That paint does the exact same thing. I also have an Ibanez guitar that the body is painted the same. In the house it's purple. Outside in the sunlight it's deep deep blue.

BTW here's a car I saw a long time ago on Mazdas247 that I'm jealous of... favorite aftermarket wheel on a Mazda 3 so far IMO...

My F150 is True Blue, but it has a lot of lavender in it so it appears purple from an angle in some light. The Ford Charcoal Blue did the same thing in 2003. I was not a Sonic Blue fan.
