I just picked up my new 3 with Tech Package today. One feature of the Tech Package is a "perimeter alarm" system according to the literature.

What is this and how does it differ from the standard anti-theft system? I've been through the manual 3 times and can find no reference to it anywhere.........

 

It is a system much like the systems installed in vehicles of the seventies.
It is sensitive to enviromental conditions, and from what I read, not worth the extra bucks.
