I have flood damaged 2012Mazda3 ,has the key immobilizer sign flashing on the dash, and the IDS software can't communicate with the ECU and the technician said needs another ECU or repair it , the problem is my founded many ECU with same part number with last letter different only, is that makes any problem for me, can these modules re programmed again?

Don't you have insurance?

The dealer should be able to answer that question best. We can tell you anything, but if the dealer won't program it for one reason or another, then it's a wasted effort and your money.

Give the ECU part number to your dealer. They should know if it can be programmed for your car.
