2015 Mazda3 SV low beams seem extra low
our 215 Mazda 3 SV with about 57k miles seems to have really dim low beams. it could just be my eyes are getting old. the high beams work great. i'll try to check that the low beams are adjusted to a good height soon. has anybody found a good bulb replacement or other fix for the low low beams?

I have a 2016 Mazda 3 sport that should be very similar to your 2015 SV. Yeah, low beams are fairly average.
The first thing I did was add fog lights. The fog lights do not help with distance but at least let me see gigantic potholes and roadkill when driving at lower speeds. I'm getting older and honestly just slow down a bit at night especially on the rural roads by my house.
Next. I might try LED replacement bulbs from Headlight Revolution and see if that adds some light and distance; I'll post again if I do.
Adding LED bulbs to headlights that were designed for halogen may not work very well.

I had a 2015 Mazda3 Touring and had the same complaint. Twice I went to Autozone and asked for brighter bulbs. Once stopping at one level below the brightest legal then the brightest legal. Neither did much to make them bright enough for my comfort.
It is not just aging eyes. Not as bright as the other cars in the family fleet including two Mazdas.
Always thought about pointing them up a little higher but never did.
I did have fog lights but the are more for close and off to the sides not straight ahead.
