Exclamation 2021 Mazda3 Turbo

Test drove the new 2021 Mazda3 Turbo and at the first light I had to stop the car was surging and RPMs were going up and down like it was going to stall, fortunately it did not. It did not do the same at the next light or ever again. I will say the engine was just warming up at the time. Now wondering if this is a fluke with this one car or something more common with the Turbo engine. Needless to say this didn't leave a great impression. Anyone else out there have any similar problems?

Haven’t seen the new turbo 3 yet. It doesn’t sound right to me. I also haven’t heard of problems for people with the turbo in other models.

I actually purchased a 2021 Mazda3 Turbo Sedan and I LOVE IT. I haven't had anything weird happen, has been running smoothly!

I test drove a Turbo myself last weekend, I experienced no issues. My uneducated guess is either that, that was a fluke like a computer instrumentation error that threw off the RPM etc, or that car is a lemon... and personally I’m leaning toward the former... Personally, I wouldn’t let this experience sullen your opinion of the Turbo 3!
