5000 only?

RE: 5000 only?
First and foremost let me assure you id did NOT pay a premium lol!!!! I know i worded that wrong. A dealer tried to sell me one for 28k i respectfully bowed out and they sold it to someone else. As for the 08 year, eh i dunno. Mazdaspeed vehicles have been short lived so far. And meant to be so. The MazdaspeedProtege was a 2003 and 2003.5. and then the Mazdaspeed MX-5 from what i can tell was two years, I'll admit i did'nt pay them much mind since i was drolling on my 03 Protege5. Then the Speed6 was intended for 1 year and got changed. So what the hell is my point!?!? Basically we know Mazda does'nt intend or at least the last time they spoke openly did'nt intend to do more than the 2007 model year. And as we have seen they have a nack for changing they're minds. Me personally I'll be bummed for a few minutes when/if i hear that there will be more made. I mean we are pretty much in a club here without trying. And we can all whoop on NeonSRT-4's and stock Cobalts. It's nice being in a small crowd with a big car. But really I've got mine and one of the first to roll away with a pink slip in the region, and that's good for me. No one accept god, deer or Jersey thugs can take it from me.
The upside to more vehicles saturating the market would be more recognition. Believe me I don't wish there to be a Mazda3 on ever corner or for everyone and they're brother to think it's cool to have a used 3 with a fart pipe. I cringe at going the way of the honda/acura. If you love Mazda you know what i mean. But at least then we may get more respect off the bat, when we already deserve much much more.
Happy Driving!!

RE: 5000 only?
Isn't every car produced, made in a "limited" number? I'm kidding...
Seriously, I think numbering is an excellent idea. As somewhat of a comparison, Ford numbered the SVT Focus. Only "limited numbers" of those produced over a "limited" number of years. Definitely adds a certain character to the car.
