Default Amp Installation

Should I could I change the aftermarket unit and put my single din alpine in...? or should i put some line outs on the stock unit and just run a amp .... i like to listen to my music loud with a little bit of bass nothing serious just something better than stock. How would I take the door panels off... how would i go about taking the dash apart? what size speakers do i have in the front 6x9?...back speakers i wont use since theysound like 5x8's..I will put 2 10's in the trunk soi get a concert type sound.

wow that really sucks...but then why do the front speakers sound better than the back...front have to be a bit bigger....or is it because i am sitting in the front so i dont hear the speakers bubbling like the back speakers. Could i put 6x9's in the back ? I want bigger speakers these sound like speakers from a boom box.

I put Polk DB570's in my F150 and I am in the process of putting a 800 watt Kenwood amp in to drive them, but even without the amp they still sounded much better than Fords Premium speakers.

I discovered the same thing in mine andhad the same question. I knew they were the same speaker size as in the front but they sound muddier...? So I just ended up fading to the front a little bit more.

I thought they used the Ford 6x8's in their Ken? 6x8's will fit, I'm told, yes?

Someone needs to clear this up. Mazda3's have 5x7s or what? I'll check crutchfield.com and see what they say. Can the Mazda radio/dash be changed over to an aftermarket standard-size CD-player? I didn't think you could without making all sorts of weird modifications...

OK, crutchfield says under my 2007 Mazda3 sedan that 5x7s, 6x9s, and even 6 3/4s "will work"? What the hell.....

I've heard that the OE speakers are 6x8's, but AM 5x7/6x8's and 6.5" component speakers w/a plate adapterwill work.
I'm quite sure that 6x9's are not stock and will not work.
