Bad etc sensors ?
hi everyone. new here. hopefully someone can shed some light.
2013 mazda 3 skyactiv 2.0 litre non turbo with 57,000 kms
I was having issues with no heat during winter. started the car and warm it up for 10-15 mins, i go to drive it and still no heat. replaced the thermostat, then next morning, there was heat but the next morning, same thing, warmed up for 10 mins or no and again no heat. so i was maybe thinking defective thermostat. changed that twice and now it's the same thing. no heat after warm up. i have a simple scanner with data that shows and i looked at the ect1 sensor showing 159 degrees fahrenheit with the car running only for 2 mins. so i thought, that can't be right. so i replaced the ect sensor in the block. then apparently, this vehicle has two ect sensors. so, both sensors are the same part numbers, so i purchased another ect sensor to replace the second one under the battery tray.
to make long story short, it's harder to start now, sometimes it just cranks. and when its finally started, i finally get some heat. but the blue coolant light on the dash stays for awhile after the car has been driven/running for 30 mins. and both my ect sensors show 43 fahrenheit and the other 57 fahrenheit..so im guessing this car doesnt like aftermarket sensors. ive ordered the mazda sensors and still waiting..
but im getting a bunch of codes now
p0091 fuel pressure regulator control circuit low
p2185 ect sensor 2 circuit high
p0118 ect circuit high input
u0115 no comm with ecm/pcm b
u0100 no comm with ecm/pmc a
anyone know how i can reset these if possible or shed some light?
