Default BP Gas and Mazda 3's

Is it true that BP gas is to be avoided? I heard this but am not sure if it is a myth. thanks.

I use it because it's close. Works fine for my Rx-7 and the rotary is sensitive.

Stick to stations that have tons of traffic (they use up their gas more frequently, so it's fresher gas when you get it.) and never fill up at a station that has the delivery truck at the station. If they just filled the tanks they stirred up sediment which can clog your fuel system.

I have heard the same thing about Arco gas which is owned by BP.
Arcos can be found in the west coast and are usually better priced.
People have told me it burns faster, but since I keep a log of fuel usage, I have seen no difference.

that would make alot of sense, the gas stations around me see alot of traffic as i live in a pretty heavily travelled area that allows gas stations to get tons of customers. that must be why i've never seen any problems with my vehicles.

exxon gas seems to last a lot longer in my car and i get more miles to the gallon with it along with shell gas. Sheetz always has a lot of customers around here, but the gas doesn't last as long! I try and stick with exxon and shell even though it is sometime 5 cents more
