Default bracing the cai.

My car started idling irregularly and the cel came on, and when I took it to the dealership, they said that a wire on my MAF sensor was broken and they think it was because of the vibration from my CAI. They were nice about it and didn't make me pay for it this time. I don't think they're right about it. Many other things could have broken that wire. For instance, there was a huge windstorm recently and I have to park outside. Well, more to the point, if it does vibrate and damage the sensor, does anyone know a good way to brace the CAI from excessive vibration? I have an Injen CAI on an '06 3s 4-door.

Easy fix bro. I learned this from another board. There are 2 white plastic clips that hold your MAF wires against your battery box cover. Just undo those clips to give more slack in the wires so your MAF wires are not stressed. If you have not fixed the problem, just splice and extend the broken wires and do what I said with the clips for preventive measures. I did this when I installed my CAI in the beginning.
