Brand new Mazda 3 that got dead battery won't jump start
So here it is, new Mazda 3, only 362 miles. Bought less than a month ago.
This afternoon, for X reasons, I wanted to start it and the battery was deep dead.
Like not even able to switch the dash on, the lights, the button itself would not even react.
I am assuming we left it in distance of the key, not switched off, and it consumed all the battery power (I can't imagine how it would not go to sleep by itself but that's another story...).
I tried to jump-start it; this brought back enough electricity power to switch the dash on, the lights, and everything, but all sorts of weird alerts would come, and I would not be able to start the engine. Alerts like: . “Ignition not switched off” “Push button start malfunction. Have vehicle inspected” “Keyless Entry System Malfunction. Have vehicle inspected.” And a few other errors about TPMS, in-network system, safety & driver support disabled.
It seems very plausible these are false alret due to a state where the car was having no power. So I kept reloading the battery for 20' with another car, and result would not change.
I was suspecting my jump cables to be not able to bring enough power.
I had assistance send me a tow truck, the tow truck had a brand new jumpstarter kit.
Same problem.
Very frustrating... any body would have any recommendation.
If I was week days and in my city, I would of course just ask my dealership to fix that but of ocurse it's week-end and I'm 200 miles away from home...
Inputs appreciated.

welcome to the forum
There is no easy way to know the date of the battery.
so, 3 choices..
1) To to your dealer
2) buy and install a new battery but make sure before you leave the store have load tested
3) Properly charge your battery to 12.50 volts and load test it. You will need to remove it to do both.
