BuddyClub Racing Spec Condensor
BuddyClub Racing Spec Condensor
After reading several posts about this product (from another board) I ordered one. I wasn't expecting much from this modification but some of the reviews seemed possible.
This weekend I had an opportunity to install the component. This unit connects to the Pos/Neg battery terminals (these should be left unconnected and be reconnected last) and it alsohas three connection points for grounding accessories. I followed suite (to the reviews)and connected the supplied ground wires to the Throttlebody, Fuel Rail and Shock Strut. I spent the first 10-15 min laying out the wires and placing the condensor. Hook up is just a matter of loosening a couple bolts placing the Ground Wire ring connector over those specificboltsand tightening.
I was pleasantly surprised. The car feels more lively and smoother. It seems to shift smoother. It almost seems like I (slightly) shortened the gear ratio. Nice. I would recommend this to anyone looking for an easy modification that you can actually feel.
There are dynos showing this modification could produce (or as stated, reclaim up to 9 hp) some gains throughout the rpm range and it certainly feels like it does. I have no intention of testing this beyond my personal feel but this is one modification I am very pleased with. As with every product YMMV.

RE: BuddyClub Racing Spec Condensor
I have one on my car. One of the first modifications too. I couldn't tell much of a difference right off the bat (07' automatic), but my gas milage has risen anywhere between 2 to 4 mpg more! That's quite a big change for $125!
Pics of it installed. I kept it looking as factory as I could. The only way you can tell anything is done, is by the actual condenser itself. Everything else is OEM looking.
