Build thread
So last night my friend and I ran into some trouble installing a few bolt ons. We set out to tackle the Cobb rear motor mount, stage III Corksport CAI, and Cobb BPV.
We started with the CAI since it takes longer than the other 2. Requires removal of tmic, battery, ecu, and of course the stock intake. Everything was going great until the Valve Soliniod's nipple decided to snap right off when removing the hose.
Oh Sh** right? Not something Vatozone carries and all dealers closed on a Sunday... So the solution? GLUE THAT BACK TOGETHER! So after repeated attempts to get the nipple to cure, it just wasnt going to hold. I didnt want to risk anything if the reglue wasnt perfect, let alone stay on correctly. SO, today at work I just ordered one. $60 part with employee discount $46. Ka-ching not too bad. So I am currently in my buddy's 95 v6 dakota for the day.
So back to the build. Since we already removed the intercooler, putting the BPV was only 2 bolts(no big deal). The rear motor mount was also a piece of cake. We raised one side at a time to get it on jackstands, then make sure engine was firmly in place, slid out the old one and slid in the new. 4 total bolts torqued to 70ft lbs.
So succesfulish? Had fun, will post pictures can't wait till tomorrow!

Update: Got a new valve soliniod from my dealer for 46 bucks! Installed and everything else is put back together. Car feels great! The only time I notice the rmm is between 800-1200 rpms. Then the vibration feels almost normal. The CAI ended up going with just short ram for now. Corksport is interchangable, once summer gets rolling I might switch to it.
