Buying help
I need a new car for work commute (about 30 miles) on very rough roads (numerous potholes and road gaps).
I initially though about buying a Prius but not sure if the Prius suspension can handle these roads. Most of the SUVs around here have "wheel noise" that I'm sure is caused by the potholes.
Would the Mazda 3 (i sport trim) be a good choice? How is the durability?
My current choices are the Mazda 3, Hyundai Sonata/Elantra, Honda Insight. Any recomendations?

mazda is the more sporty, id go with the sonata, that is if those were my choises, the insight is not built for that type of driving, id actually get a 6 instead of a 3 if u wanted to stick with the mazda

get a Nissan Rogue. Sporty, relatively high profile tires, good handling/braking capabilities, decent acceleration/top speed ratio. economic maintenance costs.
If you want a car (sedan) go for the 3 iSport. If you want something a bit more resistent to poor conditioned roads, get the rogue.

I'd say to get a sporty suv as well. The Nissan Rogue, Mazda CX-7 and etc are cool little suvs that look good, handle good, and ride very well on bumpy roads and etc. They both get fairly good gas mileage, have decent power and have awd as an option. I'd definitely say to go look at those two.
