It's an optical illusion because the roof has been shaved.
The doors appear "normal" in the un re-touched version.

Actually, to me it looked like the original picturehad beenstretched a bit to make the car look longer. The doors are pretty high on our cars... Ford-like (or these days Chrysler), if you will.

Someone on one of the other forums "chopped" a sedan into a convertible a few years back, and did a pretty good job of it too. Even made it into a 2-dr by deleting the rear doors and elongating the front doors slightly, which isn"t too hard.
I know I"m gonna be hated for saying this, but it reminded meof an elongatedGeo Metro convertible. Those high, rather flat sides. W/Othe roof, the car seems to lose a lot of it"s character.

They didn't even try doing a good job with the photoshop, the lines on the hatch don't even match up!
