Clean interior of new car
Hello
I have just bought a 2021 Mazda 3 hatch and I love it.
Just wondering what product is best to use to clean the interior dash and leather seats. People have told me different things but I thought I should ask here.
A car retailer told me nothing fancy just a multipurpose spray…? Perhaps even baby wipes? for the dash.
I have leather cleaner for the seats :-)
Please help my car is getting dusty lol
Thanks so much!
Jen

Well, its simple (except the windows) don't use any products that have alcohol or petroleum ingredients.
Alcohol and leather don't play well together. Alcohol will dry out just about any leather materiel.
Some quality named product have petroleum ingredients. Unfortunately, certain material used in the production of the plastics for many newer vehicles manufactured from about 2000 interior plastic parts will react badly and prematurely age using them.
As for the dash I would recommend stay away from anything except a water moist clean, soft cloth. Most chemical treatment will off gas and create a thin light film on your inside windshield that will only aide in collection of dust and other things floating in the air. This will all aide in diminishing the performance of your defroster.

I use a leather interior cleaner, sometimes wipe it with napkins, everything is ingeniously simple. I keep a close eye on the interior of my car because I recently installed new seats in my jeep. I don't like factory seats, they are not very comfortable for me, here https://boostyourengine.com/most-com...rmarket-seats/ I found jeep jk aftermarket seats, these seats are functional enough and they are easy to install.
