Actually, the first person I met in our local chapter has a Ti Gray Hatch w/black calipers and it looks very classy. But to me, my white needed some color, so I went the route I did.
It's cool, Man. You're OK in my book.

 

hey mike. the black came out very nice (and subtle which is a good thing i think). now that ive seen yours, im going to paint my calipers black as well (ive got the silver/black theme going on as well).

in the picture that you posted, is your car on a jack there?...because that is one huge gap between wheel and car. i dont remember my car ever being that height...

 

lol no...i took it from a lower angle, straight on so you can reaaaally see the gap. i think the fenders kinda hide the gap when youre standing next to the car looking down....but from that direct side angle - and maybe the flash of the camera , lighting up the strut and everything , it really makes it look like I have a skyjacker setup on it. But no, it never looks THAT high. it just makes me wannalower iteven more.
