Just Curious -

Anybody know how the computer calculates "Average MPH?" It wouldn't seem like idling time would be taken into account. So,would the calculation begin -say at a setpint of 1 MPH, or when the wheels start turning?

Has anyone been able to tell what speeds the ALC increases volume, and does it decrease at the same speeds, or is there some hysteresis?

I've keeping mine on 1 since I've gotten comfortable with the control andfor mehas been just right. But I hardly ever use the radio anymore anyway. It seems tobegin ramping up @ around 50mph and maxes out around 65.
I've noticed though that it seems to take longer, and lower speeds for it to drop the volume again.
