Coolant 2017 Mazda 3
#2
If you are needing to add coolant, then to save the long debates from members that have never tested their coolant I would just use MAZDA coolant.
If you are changing the coolant via a flush, then you can use any coolant that is listed for MAZDA cooling systems of your year and engine. Which there are several.
BTW having tested the percentage of MAZDA coolant to water I found discrepancy in new sealed coolant regarding 50/50 mix. So anyone stating you must use a 50/50 mix I recommend do their own testing to get it right. lol
Personally, speaking if you have not done a cooling system flush and have no record of it being done, I would just add water for now and plan on doing a cooling system flush soon based on the year of your Mazda.
