Dashboard cam strange behaviour
Hi all,
I have the new Mazda 3 (2019) and my dash cam is not working properly. Sometimes it starts recording, sometimes not. The camera is connected to power socket (NOT USB). The only way how to make it work is to push start button twice without brake - to turn the ignition on (the camera will turn on) and after that start the engine (the camera will start recording). If I don't start the engine in few seconds after ignition is started the camera will stay on, but it will not start recording. For example if I start ignition, wait 30 seconds and start the engine the camera will not start recording. Also, the camera will not start recording if I start the engine immediately (without starting ignition first).
I'm using dash cam NAVITEL R1000. I used it in my old car as well and it worked properly. Although it was car from 2013 and it didn't have start button, I started it the old way with key.
Hope you guys can understand what I meant
So, does anybody have same problem? Do you think it's camera's issue?
thanks
