No you're not entering a **** thread....I just need some suggestions on the best product to clean my tail pipe on my MS3. It gets really dirty real fast. Any ideas on a product that won't hurt the finish? Gracias...

So....... I don't have to spend God knows how much on some special cleaner that is "specially formulated" to clean tail pipes? Cool...with the amount of money I spend in gas in about flat broke. I'm in Baltimore, MD so yup, it's cold!

to answer your question, check out your local auto store and find a product called "NEVR-DULL wadding polish". The product works extremely well and even when your exhaust becomes dirty, it still has a nice shine that not many people would notice was a little dirty. I can't remember the price off the top of my head though...

Excuse me Sir, is this the 2girls,1cup thread??? [8D]

Mine gets pretty sooted up too and I usually just use a rag, but have had to resort to a little chrome polish from time-to-time.

I use the bug side of my Sponge, takes all that off.
BTW Don't use Never-Dull on it a lot, Never-Dull will scratch chrome after a time(not that you could actually see it on what part of the tailpipe is showing), I would go with V1's suggestion of a chrome cleaner/polish first. Just My 2 Cents
