Default Does anybody have a K&N Typhoon intake??

Im thinkin about picking one up but want to know if anyone has one and what results/problems come with it

Its a great intake. just make sure you use the hydroshield to avoid engine damage.

I used to have it on mine 3, you can notice the low end tq gain as well as the nice noise.

I changed to the f2 with the 3" piping and notice that there was no low end tq with the f2, it doesn't kick in until 3.5k+

so its an A+ intake IMO

That's really GREAT feedback Shale!
In other words, if you want to road race or drag race your 3, get the F2. If you want a little more for the street, get the K&N.

I just recently purchased an MS CAI from a guy on another forum who somehow ended up w/2 of them. (RE: Good price) Since it's designed by AEM I'll be curious to see if it makes my street ride any better or worse... though my feeling is better for low end than top end.
