Engine Removal/Install

Engine Removal/Install
Hello, a coworker of mine has a major issue with her car. Basically she had no oil in it and the engine seized. it is an '08 mazda 3 with a 2.0l engine, auto trans. I am very mechanically inclined and she asked me to help her out if she bought an engine and i would remove/replace her existing engine. I was wondering if anyone had a writeup for this particular car on this procedure. Does the engine come out with the trans together as a unit? Can it come out through the hood opening? I am more familiar with american v8 rwd applications but i figure it can't be that bad. I want to help her out as she does not have much to spend. Please help.

if she dont have much to spend then shes not going to get a low mileage replacement engine, what happened to her warranty? When i get back home ill post the removal procedures for the engine but i hope you know someone who has access to OEM tools because the engine is not going to be replaced w/o them.
