Default Exhaust

I have the mazda 3 2.0 and was looking to maybe buy a catback exhaust... i looked on ebay and kept sawing this "tsudo N1 exhaust" it is a lot cheaper than magnaflow or vibrant. Do you think this will do anything for peoformance? do you think it is a reliable product? and if anyone has one, how does it sound?

I had a Mazdaspeed exhaust on my 2.0, it was very nice. I definitely steer away from ebay on big ticket items, too much counterfeit stuff out there, my opinion is you get what you pay for.

you really get wat you pay for.
that cheap Tsudo N1 catback is probably made out of ****ty stainless steel, and will rust out in no time. plus it probably sounds like ***, and looks like ***.

a got my magnaflow catback for $500. which isnt that bad,
altho im upgrading to a Vibrant catback. these come with a highflow cat.

dentinger, if you are selling your magnaflow, how much are you going to try to sell it for?

$350.

but thats after it gets back from warranty work.
for some reason, my resonator destroyed itself lol
the baffles came loose, so it rattles like a bitch.
OR! i could sell it for $400 with a brand new vibrant resonator.

I couldn't tell any fuel economy improvements due to my fairly heavy feet. I always got great mileage with that car (avg 29, high 35mpg)

well i bet shipping would suck on that exhaust from canada to Texas so i thinki am better off just buying new, but thanks man... how is the exhaust sound on the 3? is it high pitch like a weedeater lol or is it pretty deep... i used to have a 1990 mustang 5.0 with exhaust that sounded incredible i loved it!

well it obviously wont sound like a 5.0 mustang
but it wont sound like a hopped up civic either.

somewhere in the middle. it has a kinda quiet 'burble' at idle.
oh, and fyi, most if not all cat backs are much louder in the first couple weeks of installing them
