Default Factory stereo hookup

I just got my 06 s 5-door yesterday and absolutely love it. I want to add subs but I like the look of the factory stereo. Does the factory stereo have pre-outs and/or how hard is it to put in a aftermarket cd player so that it still looks good with the curvature of the dash? Thanks,

JAke

congrats on the car. the factory head unit does not have pre-outs unfortunately. for aftermarket stereo i would go to crutchfield.com and check out there selection. you could also wire up the directly from the speaker wire running to the factory speakers, you would just splice them in between the radio and speakers and run the wire to the amp.

Yea I thought about doing that but how much would the sound quality be deteriorated if that is done?

you could even just consider amplifying the system and/or equalizer instead of swapping the head unit... but i highly recommend that you swap out the head unit because you'll get alot more power out of your system!
